Now, the Spanish timeshare industry is facing claims totalling millions of pounds due to a landmark ruling by the Spanish Supreme Court on the 15th of January 2015. A six year legal battle from a Norwegian lady against Anfi SL in Gran Canaria resulted in a victory when the court ruled that her timeshare was null and void and that Anfi must return all monies paid to her. If you purchased timeshare in Spain or its territories (i.e., Canary or Balearic Islands) it is worth having your paperwork looked to see if you have one of the affected contracts.
